Located in LIC, PRESS Modern Massage is a clinical massage studio, not a spa. To maintain a relaxing environment for all, please use quiet voices when inside the studio. Please note that we do not provide lockers or shower facilities, your belongings will stay with you at all times. We look forward to impressing you!

Directions By Subway

To reach 5-14 51st Ave, Floor 2, Long Island City, NY 11101, via subway from Queens, you have a couple of convenient options:​

  1. 7 Train: Take the 7 train to the Vernon Blvd-Jackson Av station. Upon exiting, it's approximately a 7-minute walk to your destination.

  2. G Train: Alternatively, take the G train to the 21 St station. From there, it's about a 12-minute walk to 5-14 51st Ave.

Directions By Car

From Manhattan – Start by crossing the East River via the Queensboro Bridge (59th Street Bridge). After the bridge, merge onto Queens Plaza South and continue onto Jackson Avenue. From there, turn left onto 11th Street, then make a right onto 51st Avenue, where your destination will be on the right.

From Downtown Brooklyn – Start by taking the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (I-278) north. Continue on I-278 and take Exit 33 for McGuinness Blvd toward Humboldt St. Merge onto McGuinness Blvd, then turn right onto Pulaski Bridge to cross into Queens. After crossing the bridge, continue onto 11th Street, then turn left onto 51st Avenue. Your destination will be on the right.

Ashley

    Ashley is a dedicated NYS licensed massage therapist known for her intuitive touch and deep understanding of the body-mind connection. A graduate of the Queensborough Community College Massage Therapy Program, Ashley has honed her expertise in a wide range of modalities, including Swedish, trigger point therapy, Thai stretching, myofascial release, and deep tissue. 

    Prior to her career as a massage therapist, Ashley gained her undergraduate degree from Hunter College, pursuing a dual major of Philosophy & Psychology. This has shaped her to take a holistic approach to her practice, considering not only the physical but also the emotional and energetic aspects of her client’s well-being. 

    Ashley likes learning new techniques and continuing to develop her skills to better help her clients. As a massage therapist she creates a serene and nurturing environment where her clients can unwind, relax, and release built-up tension. When Ashley is not at work, she enjoys reading, watching true crime shows, and spending time with her loved ones.

    Rafael is a graduate from Queens borough community college where he studied deep tissue, Swedish, medical, myofascial, and trigger points. Reducing pain and prompting relaxation with a warm and healing touch that flows within his hands. After many years of being a LMT Rafael has seen great results through the power of what touch can do to one’s body and mind. It always brings him great joy to see how clients feel after with how much more relaxed and appreciative they are.

Lindsay

    Lindsay began her massage therapy journey as a graduate of the Swedish institute in New York and member of the American Massage Association. She is passionate about helping others achieve their most functional selves with the help of massage therapy. She specializes in deep tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports massage, rehabilitative work and much more. Her sessions are client centered, emphasizing on what the clients needs are. 

    As a former collegiate athlete and current Personal Trainer, she has a vast knowledge and understanding of kinesiology and physiology to which she takes full advantage of during sessions to better assist the client. 

Annette

    Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, Annette is a compassionate and dedicated massage therapist inspired by her experience working in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in long-term care and rehabilitation centers. Witnessing firsthand the limitations of traditional Western healthcare, she felt drawn to explore a more holistic approach to healing. This passion led her to become a massage therapist, with the goal of improving the overall quality of life for individuals and helping them avoid the challenges of nursing homes.


    Specializing in acupressure, clinical massage, aromatherapy & energy work. Annette, incorporates these modalities to provide relief and healing, believing in the power of touch and energy work to restore balance and promote wellness. When not practicing massage therapy, she enjoys reading, creating unique oil blends, perfume oils, and butters, and spending time in nature, which fuels their creative energy and deep connection to holistic wellness.


    To Annette, healing is about more than just physical relief; it’s about holding space for others to do the internal work needed to thrive on all levels—physically, mentally, emotionally, and energetically. Through this approach, she aims to empower clients to achieve a deeper sense of well-being, fostering lasting healing in every aspect of their lives.

Xin

    Xin comes from an extensive movement background with over a decade of dance, primarily House, salsa, pole / aerial dance, house, and vogue. 

    Inspired by the massage therapists who supported his journey in both dance and boxing, he chose to pursue massage as both a profession and academic passion - he is a graduate of the Swedish Institute and a Journeyman Apprentice of The Wellspace Project, a 2 year post-graduate program.

    Xin specializes in Myofascial release - deep, slow, mindful compressive strokes. He has found that a combination of Swedish relaxation techniques followed by deeper compressive techniques such as Pin and Stretch to be the most effective in achieving a feeling of relief and reset.

King

    Hi! King has been a massage therapist since 2009 and graduated at the top of his class at the Swedish Institute in 2008. He's worked on Olympic gold medal-winning athletes from the 2024 Summer Games and lot of US Open tennis champions. He has had the honor of working the US Open since 2015 and has worked at numerous luxury hotels across the city. He is certified in head and neck massage for people who suffer from headaches and migraines, level 1 craniosacral, Thai massage, and a strong perinatal massage. He looks at health very holistically and is at his best doing a therapeutic (strong) but still relaxing massage that is rebalancing and recuperative, but can also do a super-relaxing Swedish massage. He believes communication and compassion are always important and his life has been informed by trauma.     Rodolphus is a dedicated massage therapist and graduate of the prestigious Swedish Institute in New York City. With specialized training in Swedish, deep tissue, orthopedic, myofascial, and Eastern bodywork techniques, Rodolphus brings a well-rounded and intuitive approach to each session. His practice is rooted in a commitment to healing, professionalism, and personalized care. Known for his calm presence and strong clinical touch, Rodolphus has worked with diverse clients in both community and clinical settings, including time spent offering restorative work at the Ronald McDonald House. He is passionate about helping others reconnect with their bodies, reduce pain, and restore balance through thoughtful, evidence-informed bodywork.     Carlos graduated from the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences as a Massage Therapist, Magna Cum Laude, the first trimester of 2025. Originally from Ecuador, and living in the New York Tri-State area for about ten years now, his background includes Visual and Performance Arts; massage therapy provides an opportunity to see his corporeal self as an instrument which, in relation to other corporealities, provides the occasion to compose a performance driven by your specific needs. Sciences like Anatomy or Physiology are giving us guidelines, but when contact occurs, an extraordinary dialogue happens, led mostly by intuition. Carlos is devoted to touching you from the heart, to create a unique experience curated to the individual client.

    Emily is a massage therapist from Queens, NY. Her whole life she always knew she was an empath and has always wanted to work one on one with others to help them any way possible. After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science, she learned about how effective massage therapy can be for others in so many different ways. She graduated from Queensborough Community College in 2021 and became licensed in 2022. She is trained in cupping, Swedish massage, deep tissue and trigger point therapy. Emily uses a holistic and therapeutic approach throughout each session to help others reach their goal and more. She believes that in order to care for others, one needs to take care of themselves. Emily is also currently a student at Pacific College studying acupuncture. Emily looks forward to helping others every single day through the use of massage, empathy and dedication.
